The Black Horse appeared as if real in a dream. His coat was as silk and reflected the moon. His hooves he did beat. Shook his head with esteem, With mischievous intent, was away all too soon. With a blackness so dark and with burning of eye, he sighed to the air in the coolness of night. Inviting me, waiting my hasty reply, To mount on his back and to ride 'till daylight.
